Ben got home Thursday night from a few weeks in the field, and I’m trying to catch up on all the things that kept us busy while he was gone.  We went to this great botanical garden/petting zoo/culture center called Bios on the Hill.  It was way more interesting than my pictures imply, because I was busy trying to keep both kids out of the sun and hydrated.  There were goats, water buffalo, pigs, and chickens wandering about.  Max enjoyed playing on the massive tree forts, and we all enjoyed the boat ride which included a glimpse of a traditional Okinawan dance.  We’ll definitely be back once the temperature drops a bit.
