Aunt Karen came to visit!!!  Our good Father blessed us with the perfect timing for Karen to stop by after a trip to Japan for work.  We had been praying for an opportunity for this to happen, and it did!  We had a lovely weekend talking about the goals we have for our families, the the gifts we see in each other, sharing our burdens, and just enjoying our friendship.  It was such a gift to have her here and introduce her to Hazel, and especially right in the middle of a solo-mom stretch.  We took her to some of our favorite cafes and bakeries and beach spots, and we had a lovely time.  Thank you so much for making this work, Karen!  I am so thankful for our friendship!
