Playground at sunset.
We have many, many dogs in the neighborhood. Hazel points and barks at each one that walks by, and usually tries to run up that hill to give the dog a kiss.
A few months ago, she was bitten by a dog she tried to pet. (Not this dog.) Luckily, there are about as many doctors as dogs in our neighborhood (including the owner of the biting dog), so she was looked at immediately by several friends and it wasn’t too bad. She is more cautious around dogs (and I am much, much more cautious), but she still loves every dog she sees and has no lasting fear.
