It’s been so rainy, but we took advantage of a break in the rain and headed out for a Saturday hike at nearby Garrapata state park. It was great to get out! When we got home, the boys decided to wash their wheels. The car isn’t driven more than once or twice a week lately,Continue reading “Day 6 – Take a hike”

Days 3 & 4 – Rhythms
Yesterday was a little rough. It started off with stories and math and snuggles, but by the afternoon, Hazel’s little extrovert self was just sad. I can tell she misses her friends. Every day she asks me “where we go today?” and I tell her we can go to the park or beach, and sheContinue reading “Days 3 & 4 – Rhythms”
Day 2 – Shelter-in-Place

Game Day
I am slowly working through all our photos from Texas last week. We had a lovely time celebrating a belated Christmas with everyone. We even managed a Friday game day with Mema. Max is pretty sure he won Shooters.

Trains have taken over. We love our home, but it is not a large home. More on the “cozy” side. And trains now cover nearly all surfaces, and even span the gaps between furniture. Even so, I’m kind of loving this stage and his passion.
