Hazel and I had a bit of time between dropping off Max at school and meeting a friend, so we took a stroll down Fishermans Wharf.

Last week at the aquarium.

The Saturday after his birthday, we asked Max what he wanted to do. Hike? Aquarium? Brunch? Playground? Nope. Natural History Museum!

Early October. Every day Hazel doesn’t have school, I ask her what she wants to do that day. Nearly every day, the answer is “see fishies!”

A few weeks ago at Carmel Beach. Max goes to a kids’ program at our church on Wednesday afternoons, so Hazel and I stay close while we wait to pick him up. Fortunately, this beach is walking distance from the church, so we like to hang here when it’s not too breezy.
