Cheater! The big kids practice on the uneven bars at the same time as his little gym, and he awkward stares at the girls the whole time. I’m pretty sure he thinks he looks just like them when his coach flips him over their little bar. 🏅

Bear crawl at gymnastics.

Max is totally into gymnastics. We watch Simone Biles clips on loop. We’ve got love for Aly and Laurie, too, but it’s all about Simone around here. So we enrolled him in gymnastics and he’s loving it.

On rainy days, we explore the restaurants and shops.

Sometimes (often) it rains and we can’t go to the beach.

We go to the beach a lot. We usually run there, play for an hour or so, then run home. Today we ran to the beach, then walked home with a stop at the ice cream shop. That’s the same as working out, right??

Shisa dogs are everywhere here. Max is trying to determine how sharp her teeth are.

Max and I did some exploring today and ended up in the East China Sea. ☀️🌴 That pirate ship was part of a fun playground across from the beach. We also checked out a local grocery store for some tea. It was a good morning.
