We’ve been very busy, so I’ll catch up more later. For now I just want to document this guy’s first prayer, said this morning: “Dear God, Thank you for love. Thank you for raisins. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.” Then he told me, “Mom no listen NPR.” Ouch.

Jennifer and Jon had us over for some tasty lasagna Saturday night and we had a great time! Max especially took advantage of the foam rollers to work out some tight muscles and help “Uncle Don” pick up his blocks. Thanks so much for having us over!
Max’s recipe for four-ingredient “cookies”: 1. Obtain a killer (tailor-made) chef outfit from your grandma. 2. Mash a banana. 3. Add oats. Sample freely. 3. Add chocolate chips and vanilla. 4. Blatantly disregarding the “no shoes in the house" rule AGAIN, but he’s just so happy in daddy’s shoes. And I don’t really know what happened next, but I think he’s cooking them.
Today and yesterday. 2-3 feet of snow mean piles of snow 6-7 feet high in some places after the roads are (mostly) plowed. Max has had a blast climbing the snow mountains.
