Early March.  Pants not required at the playground.

Early March.  Ben had several Saturdays in a row out of town or working, which is always the worst.  Fortunately, we have a lot of great friends around here to keep us company.  We spent this Saturday at a food festival with neighbors.  

March 1st.  Ben got the opportunity to promote MGySgt Hedke. The Hedkes are friends of ours from church, and Brian and Ben worked together at Ben’s previous job at the wing.  Max and Hazel played with their girls and I tried to take pictures and keep everyone alive on a very breezy day.

Late February.  Watching for planes at the Kadena golf course for lunch since we were on base for Hazel’s gymnastics.  It overlooks the flight line and we got too see many fighter planes take off and land.  I didn’t get pictures of the planes because they scared Hazel, and I needed both hands for hugging.  Also, the pigeons were really aggressive and pounced if I got distracted at all.  Not exactly a pleasant lunch, but the kids had fun.

Late February, Araha Beach.  Clearly we like it here.

Late February at Araha with friends.  This vending machine makes music if you hit the right buttons, and it’s way more popular than the playground right behind it.  

Late February.  Max and I went on a date to see a local high school performance of Aladdin, Jr. and followed it up with a shared scone and and hot chocolate.  Also, we are making pirate faces in the first picture.  I can’t remember why,
