Max had such a wonderful first birthday party this weekend. Thank you so much to our families for coming to celebrate him, everyone who sent love and gifts, and everyone who has supported us with prayers and encouragement over the last year. We are so grateful and thank God for all of you!

On an unrelated note, I almost called my favorite dermatologist completely panicked today on the sudden appearance of bright red splotches all over Max’s leg. Until I realized he wasn’t eating his beets, but stuffing them under his leg. Naturally. Just another day in the office…
A few potty fails today. I left the bathroom for two seconds and a block and a dinosaur had disappeared into the potty. Also, he has developed the disturbing habit of wanting to inspect any “potty successes”. Uughhhh.
