Our little super hero had a busy day. 5:15 am wake up call (that crime isnβt going to fight itself, people!), fun at the park with friends, an epic 3 hour nap (fighting crime makes one very sleepy), and a run to whole foods for a dinner date. Not too bad for a Friday, but weβre ready to have our much taller hero back tomorrow!
My handsome dinner date.
Max is constantly trying to get into the cat food. So is his ball.
We had a great time watching the Army’s Twilight Tattoo last night on Ft Meyer overlooking DC. Soldiers dressed in uniforms from the American Revolution to current day. Max was a champ but maybe a little scared of the gunfire and cannon blasts… one of us may have cried a little bit but we won’t say who. π
What?

Max finally found someone as handsome as he is. π
My workout partner has some interesting moves. And he’s kind of a mat hog.
Just these last few pics and I think I’ll call the blog caught up. π It’s been a busy week, and next week looks even more intense. I’m praying for peace and wisdom and big faith! These pictures remind me of how many sweet little moments I have with this guy all day long and how it would be foolish to waste them or look at this season of life with anything but gratitude.
Max is 10 months! Apparently, he celebrated by stealing a much older fella’s pants.
We had such a wonderful time with Ben’s parents and sister last weekend! As usual, I didn’t take nearly enough pics with my phone, but these capture the essence of our time together: playing ball, reading books, and snuggling!
