Mid February morning walk/bike ride to Starbucks. Max is “training” every day to be as fast as Daddy. Hazel looks eighties fabulous in that denim skirt.
Max knows all his Japanese yen, but I think it’s time to start teaching him American money!

Mid February. After a busy morning at Comprehensive Park, we like to eat lunch at BB Coffee for their excellent coffee and avocado toast. Max and Hazel like to play on the seawall at chase the cats after we eat.
Mid February. More fun at Comprehensive Park. When he’s climbed all he can, Max prefers to play hide and seek. Hazel likes to swing.

Early February. We’re going on a bear hunt. We’re going to catch a big one…
A long time ago I couldn’t get Max to go on a walk, so we read “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” and I convinced him to go on a bear hunt instead of a walk. Ever since, this (creepy, abandoned) part of the base has been Bear Hill, and while I have never actually seen a bear here, Max claims he’s seen several. Hazel is bit nervous about the bears, but enjoys the hunt nonetheless.
Early February. After bagels, the rain cleared up so we went exploring on the seawall.
