About this time 10 years ago (!!!!), my new friend Stephanie asked if Karen and I would like to join her family on a canoe trip on the Pecos River. Sure, why not? That invitation and trip have changed my life for the better. These two still encourage me, pray for me, speak truth into my life, and laugh with me. I am forever thankful for them (and for Angela and Steve, who voluntarily tripled the number of teenage girls on a week-long trip on a river, and continue to open their hearts to us!). Here’s to the next 10 years, girls!
