I write most of these posts while rocking Max to sleep. It is too dark for a picture, buy this is the typical soundtrack. I wonder how long he’ll need to talk himself to sleep? Will his college roommate be weirded out?

Boxes are a hot commodity around here.
We love playing with blocks! I stack, he wrecks! Bonus: these wooden blocks by Haba Baby use water-based, non-toxic paint (why isn’t that standard?!).
Max is learning to feed himself. It is a slow and messy endeavor, but fun to watch! Did I mention messy? This video is cut short due to an overturned bowl of pear. Because I was taking a video. Lesson learned: two hands and full attention is required!

Poor little guy. Tiny band aid, cut in half to fit his tiny toe. I guess it’s time to stock up on band aids!
(It’s just a snagged toenail. We are so grateful for Max’s good health.)

Check out those chins! Clearly he is not starving due to withholding nutritious Kindles.

I wouldn’t let him eat my Kindle.
Pears = good. Applesauce = better. Pears and applesauce combined? Best!

Hehe, looks like the tea kettle is a fave lately. Maybe his dad can find a French press to try and compete. 😉
