More from the toy museum.
More fun at the toy museum. Hazel loved finally getting to crawl around and touch things, and Max loved all the building opportunities.
The Tokyo Toy Museum is super cool. Three stories of wooden, Waldorf-esque toys to explore. Max and Hazel had so much fun! Only the promise of lunch could get them to leave.
We went to Tokyo last weekend and had so much fun! Ben had to take a test, so the littles and I came along for the sightseeing. While he tested, we braved the subways to do a little exploring. This is the Senso-ji shrine, the oldest in Tokyo.
Some signs of Spring. Max is taking good care of the tree (stick) he planted in the yard. Ben has to mow and edge around it. Hazel is trimming the grass in her own way.
We had some friends over for some shaving cream fun!

Thanks for the ladybug for our ladybug, Mema!
These two. She’s all about the bread. He’s all about observing and pontificating. They’re just perfect together.
This little love bug is 11 months! She has been for a few weeks, but I’m just now getting around to posting pictures.
Hazel, you are as happy and fun as ever! You love smiling and laughing, and you are a super fast crawler. You practice standing solo all the time, but you’re not crazy about taking steps. You say “hi” all day long, and always when I come to get you in the morning and after naps. You love rubbing your face in my hair and your woolly blanket.
You hate having your face wiped and your diaper changed, and also have pretty passionate feelings about the gate keeping you from dashing up the stairs. You are quick to dash for the gate when you see it open.
You are an excellent sleeper and eater, and unfortunately, an excellent shrieker. You’ve lost the sensitivity to eggs, hurray!
You make our lives richer and we are so so grateful for you!
Fun with dinosaurs! 🦖 🦕
