Hanging with friends.

#goals
We had a Mommy-Max day at the beach and Max practiced his reading. It was nice to go to the beach without removing sand from anyone’s mouth.
Loving that reflection.
I hope she always delights in her reflection like she does now. Not in a vain way – I am pretty sure she doesn’t even know that the reflection is hers – but in a way that is just happy to see the joy and beauty in front of her.
Watching Daddy mow the lawn. Clearly Mommy does not prioritize washing the windows. 🙈

Quick stop by Sunset Beach on a run. A few minutes after this picture, Max turned the lifeguard stand into his house.
These two. They love exploring together. Max loves creating new worlds, and Hazel loves putting things in her mouth. Somehow, they make these interests overlap. We recently discovered this lonely hill on base and Max has been requesting many visits there.
Max is always either asking questions or describing the house he’s building in head (…and also in my house, there will be a tree INSIDE! …and also in my house…). Hazel always seems to be contemplating whether the thing she is holding is edible or not.
Soccer with Daddy.
Roller slide joy!

Max is into this graphic novel of the three little pigs lately. He spins a pretty good yarn.
