Took us a few weeks after we got back from Texas to take down the Christmas tree. Hazel wasn’t sad about it.

Some of my very favorite pictures from our time in Texas. Pops teaching Max to play football on our last day in town in the coldest weather we’ve experienced since we left the States. Which is why I enjoyed watching from the toasty living room.

Thanks to Nana and Pops for letting us take over the upstairs of your house and at least half of the kitchen, too! We’re so grateful for you allowing us to invade for two weeks!

We spent a much-too-short afternoon at Mema’s new place. It looks like you’re going to have some competition in Rummy-O next time we’re in town, Mema!

Ben dusted off his old keyboard which Nana and Pops have graciously held on to all these years. Max very much enjoyed donning the headphones, putting on his finger lights, and “conducting” the demo songs.

Just hanging out with the cousins. Thanks for having us over to see your new home, Jess! Hazel says thanks to Brooklyn for sharing her toys and to Ryan for playing with her.
