Max mostly has “rest time” instead of nap time now. He stays in his room for about an hour and usually just “reads” (recites) books to himself. Every now and then, though, he crashes. And it’s the sweetest thing to wake him up with a favorite book.
Sibling love.
Has it already been 2 months? We’re so happy you’re here, sweet Hazel Elizabeth.

Hazel’s first 24 hours. Max was smitten. We all were, and still are!

Selfies at the mall.
Exploring on base.
Max wasn’t really feeling it at Hacksaw Ridge, but it was good to see the site in person. It was super hot that day, so Max and I didn’t quite make it to the top. Instead, we played hide and seek before meeting up with everyone at a little cafe for sandwiches and ice cream.
This is what happens when you have a pregnant tour guide.
Beach days with Grandpa Shark!
In the Naval Underground Headquarters in Naha. It was really interesting to see a bit more of the history of the island. Creepy, but interesting.
