Making pizza in our retro Okinawan kitchen.

Mornings in our house = milk mustache, crazy hair, random sticker on the wall, and crooked artwork. Not a bad morning at all, actually.
Scenes from the playground lately. Just to be clear, he now dresses himself. The rain boots are a must; weather is irrelevant. He also packs for the playground and walks. The gear list rotates, and I’m not sure how he determines what makes the cut, but he takes this very seriously.
Within 60 seconds…
Max always looks suspicious during his haircuts.
Our weekend away earlier this month. Max had a great time with the hot tub on our balcony and testing his American “pluggers” on Japanese outlets. He also inspected the grounds for proper wiring. Ben and I enjoyed the views.
Max is enjoying his bike lately. Part of my diabolical plan to kick him out of the stroller by the time I’m ready to start running with baby sister. Those double jogging strollers look brutal! And I’m not sure I could even fit one in our house!
Apparently sometimes you’re just over the bike and you have to carry it home.
So happy I got in another lift before Baby! My pride compels me to point out that the weights are in kilograms, not pounds. 😉💪🏻🏋️♀️
She is due a week from today and I’m so excited to meet her, but not in any rush either. I will miss the sweet little movements in my tummy. And sleep. 😊
Trying to zip my jacket over my too big belly. I like his optimism, though!
Family babymoon up north. This island has beautiful hotels!
