Late August. A morning at Asilomar, just about five miles away in Pebble Beach. Max liked the kelp, Hazel liked the snails. A good time tide pooling for all of us.
Late August. Just a little fun on Cannery Row. With Max in kindergarten, Hazel and I have several mornings to hang out. We go for runs, play at parks, visit the aquarium, watch the sea lions at the wharf, try new cafes, head to the beach, meet friends, explore museums, and very occasionally, we enjoy a quiet morning at home.
More from sunset at Carmel River State Beach on Labor Day.

This was a hike about 2 miles down the road from our house on a perfect Saturday morning. It connects Carmel River State Beach to Monastery Beach.
Sunset after dinner. We’re loving our new neighborhood beach.
Late March. Reading a book with Daddy and Baby Caroline.
Late March. A bike ride to Bear Hill.
Late March. Teaching Baby Caroline all those skills she’s been learning at gymnastics.
